Why Webinars

Not every member can travel to Cairo for a course. Online sessions extend the Society’s teaching to surgeons working in governorates across Egypt and to members abroad, at no cost beyond membership.

Session Formats

• Case discussion — a presented case with panel commentary and open questions
• Technique sessions — focused teaching on a single procedure or approach
• Journal club — critical appraisal of recent literature relevant to practice
• Guest lectures — invited international faculty

Attending

Sessions are announced by email and on the Society’s news page. Live attendance allows participation in discussion; recordings are added to the Surgical Video Library afterwards.

Proposing a Session

Members who wish to present a case or propose a topic are invited to contact the Education Committee through the Society office.
