The Society has convened its annual congress since 2008, alongside instructional courses, microsurgery workshops, cadaveric programmes and joint meetings with national and international partner societies.
The First Cairo International Hand Surgery Conference ran 24–27 March 2008, months after the Society’s establishment. It drew distinguished international faculty, including leading members of the American Association for Hand Surgery — among them Brian Adams, Peter Amadio, Mark Baratz, Allen Bishop, Richard Brown, Scott Kozin, Nash Naam, Mike Neumeister, Chris Novak, Ron Palmer and Jaiyoung Ryu — and set the international character the meeting has kept since.
Abstract books, programmes and proceedings for previous meetings are collected under Congress Proceedings & Abstracts. Recorded keynote and instructional sessions are added to the Surgical Video Library.
Dates and venues for forthcoming congresses are announced here as the Executive Board confirms them, so that members and international faculty can plan ahead.
