Six ways to belong
Eligibility and rights vary by category.
Full Member
Consultant orthopaedic or plastic surgeons practising hand and microsurgery in Egypt. Full members may vote and stand for election.
Associate Member
Specialists and registrars who have completed core surgical training and are progressing toward consultant practice.
Trainee Member
Residents enrolled in recognised orthopaedic or plastic surgery training.
Allied Health Member
Hand therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and specialist nursing staff working in hand and upper-limb care.
International Member
Surgeons practising outside Egypt who wish to participate in ESSHM scientific and professional activity.
Honorary Member
Conferred by the Executive Board in recognition of distinguished contribution to the specialty or Society.
Eligibility evidence
Applicants may be asked for evidence of qualifications, professional registration and current post. Trainee applicants may be asked for confirmation of programme enrolment.
