Annual Congress
The Society’s principal scientific meeting — and the point at which Egyptian hand surgery gathers in one room.
The Society’s principal scientific meeting — and the point at which Egyptian hand surgery gathers in one room.
The annual congress is where the Society does most of its scientific work in public: free papers and trainee research, instructional courses, hands-on workshops, and invited faculty from Egypt and abroad. It has run since the First Cairo International Hand Surgery Conference of 24–27 March 2008, which drew leading international faculty to Cairo and set the pattern for every meeting since.
Consultants and specialists in orthopaedic and plastic surgery, residents in training, hand therapists and specialist nursing staff. Members attend at reduced rates. The meeting is open to non-members, and to international delegates.
